Great Series!

Mr. Cressman has crafted another fine book in this series! After reading the first book, I was glad to find that the second was already waiting for me. It was with great anticipation that I started reading, just to find that it was better than the first…..and now I’m looking forward to the third!
The storyline was on track throughout…. with a couple of surprising twists. The characters have had really good development….the realm is steady, but with dander on the horizon…Awesome job, Sir!

One of the Best New Series

I read a tremendous amount of LitRPG and this is one of the best new works on the scene that I can recall in some time. The pacing was what did it for me. So many books struggle to maintain the proper balance of combat and downtime, clearly favoring one over the other to the point that it can be a struggle to read. This one balanced the two perfectly, not dwelling on minutia but moving the narrative along very well. The characters are likable and perhaps it’s just the cat person in me, but Luna is the best familiar ever. I’m eager to see the next entry in the series.

Fun series!

This series is fun in part because I’m not sure where its going. And I mean that in a good way. Likeable, non-OP MC and supporting characters. Good action, a solid levelling and class system. If you like little, you’ll enjoy this series.
